SolveIT bags State of Maine project
WESTBOROUGH, MA, Dec. 1, 2008 - SolveIT Inc. is proud to announce that the software solutions provider has been chosen by the State of Maine to work on the Maine Arts Commission's interactive dynamic web application. The minority-owned, technology solutions provider based out of Westborough was selected amidst strong competition from other vendors to bag the order that requires SolveIT to rework on the prestigious Maine Arts Commission's existing web application. This is the first State project for the growing IT solutions company.
The State of Maine wants SolveIT to incorporate several dynamic features to the Arts Commission's web application that includes providing rotational features on the home page, a highly specialized search option, and the ability to have RSS feeds. The State of Maine also wants SolveIT to create a 'my favorites' area for its frequent browsers that can store all the necessary details that the browsers are looking for.
"We are extremely happy to note that we have been chosen by the State of Maine for this prestigious project," said Vasu Ram, the CEO of SolveIT. "It's a gigantic achievement for a firm that was started just five years back to beat out the competition and have a State project in our portfolio. We were confident that our expertise and proven track record would impress the State officials to award the project to us. The announcement vindicates SolveIT's continued efforts toward providing our clients with creative yet interactive applications that have helped them build business results."
Commenting on the new features that would be incorporated to the revamped Maine Arts Commission web application, Vasu said, "Right now, they have a few interactive features but we are looking to add innovative functionalities that would give it a dynamic online presence. Also, our advanced software applications would bring to life the artistic renderings, which I'm sure connoisseurs of art would really appreciate."
"The Maine Arts Commission is looking forward to working with SolveIT to improve its online services to the field. The new features we are adding will make the website even more user-friendly while increasing the visibility of Maine's artists and art," said Darrell Bulmer, Communication Associate, Maine Arts Commission.
